I bought this camera for my mom to use with Skype. Although the plug-and-play attribute of the camera works, the picture quality is barely acceptable, even after I tweaked Skype's video settings. I then tried to install the software on the cd-rom included with the webcam. What a nightmare! I have yet to be able to install it! Every time, I am told that the software cannot be downloaded, and to try again later. I am currently torn between keeping the webcam because it does at least work, and returning it and investing in something better.
Set up was easy, simply plug it in and open an application that uses it. Image quality and sound are good.
