I love how it looks just like a coat hanger and the dot for the camera looks where maybe a nail went in. great idea and I'm glad it was invented for a reasonable price

This spy cam is part of what works as a housecoat or towel hook. The video is fair to good quality and does fair in low light. I has a great microphone pickup as well. Another great thing is it's ready to go with a micro memory card and has a built in rechargeable battery. The main issue is the design. Firstly the hole in the top prevents it from being hidden. The other issue is that the settings button is literally between the two hooks. This button pushes easily and someone mounting the hook could activate it. When the button is pressed, this would show them the LED lights on the side with are for showing activation modes from motion detect to constant record. I think this would be a good candidate of a camera to remove from its housing and make your own by borrowing the camera and board from the inside. Horrible unit. I guess for such a cheap price you shouldn't expect it to work well and it doesn't. only useful as a coat hanger, so don't wast your money. I tested two units with the same poor results. Both not reliable as motion option hardly worked and never recorded over a minute and often froze up. Cam view is so close you would have to mount it 30 feet away to get a wide enough view to catch anything.
