Tablets can be challenging for some people to learn. This is my third. I gave my girlfriend one and let my landlady borrow one. The kindle tablet is easier to use for older non-computer generation people. It works good and I use it more than my all-in-one-touchscreen, laptops, android tablets, and my cell phone. I recommend the kindle for young and old alike. I would suggest some sort of protective covering to protect it from falls. I don't care how careful you are, you or somebody will drop it one day.

Has high-res image capabilities... I'm not happy with this particular model as far as video quality is concerned as it just has the buffer wheel loads but no video ever comes up..so I just use it for ebooks for now..saves physical space on book front, though. Plan on getting a something that can play high quality video eventually. I think it's a excellent model if you are only using for e-books and browsing Web or taking transactions via square register or whatnot.

The kindle itself is in pristine condition. The connection plug for charging shows some wear, but is in good condition. I was surprised it also came in a case, and a short connector to a computer, also. On top of that, I was not expecting it until Saturday, and it came on Wednesday, 3 days early!!! A great big Kudos!!!

I love this Kindle. My previous one died after 9 years of life. I looked at the new Kindles but they were either geared towards children or trying to replicate an IPad. I just wanted a tablet to read my books and play my games. This restored one is in better condition that my old one!
