For all lovers of bluesrock music this album is a must.Excellent songs, musicianship and superb vocals. You might think all the great blues players were a dying breed, but Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam prove blues-rock is very much alive and kicking. Hope the freeloaders don't torrent it to death because a hard working musician with talent like this deserves to earn money.
Having seen Davy's appearance on BBC, I thought for a young guy his guitar and vacal ability was second to non. The album is a good mix of tempos, and should appeal to all blues fans everywhere. Very credibal and competant, would love to catch a live show if he ever appears in the midlands. GOOD CD!!!
Bought this after seeing the artist on breakfast news on the BBC. I expected blues - so the opening tracks suprised as they are more rock than blues! Good album from this newcomer if you don't mind the opening heavy guitar work at.
