I have followed RPWL for several years now; and have most of their studio albums. I want to say first, although they may have been a tribute band for Pink Floyd; and critics have said they sound like Porcupine Tree, etc, etc... RPWL has in their own right, established themselves as artists who have found their own.. I hear influences of the Beatles.. Genesis.. Floyd etc.. but what bands are not influence by them... In the end; RPWL is a band who deserves to be mentioned among the best of current bands.. When you hear RPWL, you know it is them.. They have their own sound, thus should be critically aclaimed for their creativity and their posture, as musicians who continue to create, great music. This album is in my opinion.. their very best.. creatively and material-wise. Though it is a bit of a concept album, and certain philosophies may not be your thing.. Probably my favorite RPWL live album. They have a history of doing studio and live, so considerable redundancy exists. Non-pretentious tunes, with just enough to keep my prog ears in tune.
