This is my absolute favorite Bjork album! This is one of those cds where you should listen to it at least once with your headphones one. You'll hear so many new sounds to titilate your ears! After you've listened to it with the headphones, those sounds will stand out to you through the regular speakers. Bjork's voice better than it's ever been on this album. No screaming, yelling, or normal Bjork craziness (which I LOVE Bjork for) and to be honest, it's not missed. If you haven't heard Vespertine yet, I highly suggest you add it to your collection. For you anti-Bjork people out there, give this cd a listen, it might just change your mind about the Icelandic pop princess!
I bought this CD way back when it was new, and over the years mine bacame too damaged to play properly anymore. So I bought it again, that is how good this album is. I have just about all the Bjork albums ever released, and this is still one of my favourites, very musical, not weird and difficult to like, as some of her other works are.

You either enjoy her music or you don't. For this fan I thought it was money well spent. I've been playing this CD for years and finally wore it out and had to get another one through Ebay. Recommended for those who think they know music and are getting tired of the top 10 crap that is pushed on the public nowdays.
This is Bjork's fourth album and unlike the first three. I like her courage to be different. And I like it.
