I purchased this CD after hearing, track 10, "the lying lies and and dirty secrets of Miss Erica Court" I was at a friends and suddenly this song was all I could hear. I'd never heard of the band before, the vocals on some of the tracks are excellent, however some tracks are a bit slow, which isn't quite my thing overall 3/5 ***
A brilliant mix of rock and emo with beautiful soaring melodys, heavy rock-outs and awesome driving riffs. The lyrics are based around a story thats far too long and intricate for me to write here, ut if you want to find out you go to one of their fan sites or read one of the comics or novels they produce alongside the music. Basicly its fantasy sci-fi with Robots and Angels and The Writer and a whole lot of other confusing stuff. 'Good Apollo...' is C&C's third album and the fourth in the story. There will be one more after it and a prequel. This just adds to the confusion. If you want to skip the whole story stuff you can because the musics awesome anyway. Catchy vocals that are sung octaves above normal human hearing may seem annoying to passers by (passers by?) but once you listen to them they really grow on you and you realise just how talented Claudio is. its a really good cd, excellent band improving with every record. notably good tracks include 'Ten Speed' and 'The Suffering' the album artwork is pretty good aswell thanks
An amazing album, that i wanted for ages, i saw it on ebay for a cheapish price and bought it. i think it is a very good album that should be bought by anyone that likes their music or even music in general.
starts of a nice easy listening cd which after a few tracks turns into a harder, faster paced cd packed with gr8 tracks of rock music
