I love this group. I first heard of them from iTunes , they had a free video of crystilized. I fell on love right away. The music Is calm and soothing and very romantic. If u like to try new music like I do well u are in for a surprise. The group consists of 4 people the lead female vocals/guitar ...and the lead male vocals/bass have known eachother since they were little kids.. I think they are their upper 20's.... There is one more female who plays backup guitar and another male who plays that weird looking keyboard that makes sounds. Anyway it's like a little garage band but without the heavy Rock music... And the lyrics as much as they are deep they are very very symple. So sit back and get ready to not skip one track.
I love their music! I really got into the XX after hearing that first track, Intro, in that Apolo Aton Ohno commercial. After looking for that song on the web and browsing YouTube, I found the XX and listened to all their tracks. That track, Intro, really gets my spirits up and makes me want to do things. That is my theme song for this year! Great songs, good vibes, really calming. I love the XX!!!
