Given all the hype over this band back in the 70s as being the incarnation of the Beatles, that alone is worth the purchase. Not disappointed either. Some very cool music, and a few tunes might sound close, but any true Beatles fan will hear the difference. I do recommend just based on its historical marketing ploy. But considering the quality of music contained in this CD I would say definitely buy it.

These two albums would be the Canadian Band, Klaatu's first two albums. They also happen to be two of their bests. A lot of the songs do have a slight Beatles like sound but with their own signature that makes their band like no other. The subject matter of their songs is often very weird and strange, yet still has a great sound that you will be singing out loud. For a band that is relatively forgotten these two albums are a hidden gem. If you like these two you should also check out their final album Magentalane.
Klaatu a band that had the makings of greatness, but after 1st 2 LP's they started to fade away as fast as they came on the seen. These 1st two are quite good ! Start here if you can get a copy on CD. Even LP's are hard to come by in nice shape. Definitely worth collecting and enjoying their music.
