Great songs. Rough and ragged like aged leather. This guy has been around the small bars and big arenas and commands them both. This cd sounds like you are at a small bar in the 60’s. a perfect marriage between pearl jam and neil young , it´s a shame that only in the u.s.a. the second cd was released with also 3 or 4 great songs with edie veder on vocals ,in europe was sold apart, at the time by 7.50 € wich is an exchange due to the time that this work came out there was no Euro available, So for the ones o who say: pear jam? they don´t know what they missed, this to do not talk of the fantastic performance live in the reding festival.

With members of Pearl Jam as the backing band, Mirror Ball is one hard rocking album. Unfortunately, the downside here is that all the songs blend together and at times it even becomes a little boring. Still, Neil puts forth some fantastic lyrics and vocals and I think it's safe to say that this is a must own album for all Pearl Jam and Young fans. 4 Stars.
