I bought this Rush CD for one song only: "Ghost Of A Chance". Most of Rush's music just leaves me cold; I don't enjoy Neil Peart's pseudo-sci-fi-type lyrics, and Rush's playing just leaves me cold. I should like them better than I do, because I love all the rock bands, but Rush is devoid of any personality in their music, and their music is so herky-jerky, overladen with tricky time signatures with lack of identifiable melodies, that I've never really liked them all that much. I really never have, although I have many of their albums (mostly bought used)...when I first heard "Ghost of a Chance", I couldn't believe it was RUSH! A concise sentiment! A melody to hang my hat on! An existential, clear lyrical message I could actually grasp! The rest of the CD, well, nothing on it jumps out at me the way "Ghost" did. I wish Rush had done more "Tom Sawyer"-type songs...that song almost grooves, something Rush seems incapable of doing over their 30-year career odyssey. If you're a Rush fan, I'm sure this CD won't disappoint...me, I'd rather listen to Grand Funk Railroad!Read full review
I bought this for my brother’s birthday and he loves it. He’s a big Rush fan.

Contemplative, the album shines as the guys ask "why are we here?" The answer is simple...yet profound.
This CD means a lot to me for very sad personal reasons. Thank you for sending it to me
