Genesis is one of those bands that can stand the test of time. It shows through the departure of Peter Gabriel and how the band carried on with Phil Collins. This album--fronted by Peter Gabriel--is an excellent example of how great the music of Genesis was in the beginning!! I listened to this album a dozen times and am looking forward to listening to it a dozen more. Excellent album and well worth the price spent!!!
I love Genesis but this is their second album and they hadn't developed their sound yet fairly dull record has its moments though

My favorite of the early (Peter Gabriel-fronted) Genesis albums. Great music, soaring themes, and Gabriel at his young-heartrending best in terms of vocals and passion. This one is also pre-Phil Collins and Steve Hackett, so it's an interesting view into the "What If" Land of alternate band personnel.
