This was the 1st of the post Weather Report groups that Joe Zawinul had.This DVD had former Weather Report members Victor Baliey (bass)Peter Erskine (Drums) and Robert Thomas,Jr.(percussion)Steve Kahn (guitar) as the only member who had not previously played in Weather Report.I believe this is the only recording of this group Weather Update,some of the members of this group went on to play in Joe's next group the Zawinul Zyndicate. This is a "must have" for any Weather Report/Joe Zawinul..this is great performance by this one of the many Zawinul Groups!
