Excellent Rock Album. I grew up during the 70's and we all thought that rock would just keep getting better. Boy we were wrong... but this band is worth listening to. These guys are top notch musicians. The lead singer has one of the most unique sounds that I've heard in a rock band. There are only a couple of spots on this album where he's screaming in the mic and sounds like one of those wannabe rock bands, but I just skip the track. Overall, This is a terrific piece of work. Well worth the purchase price. Thanks Nickelback. Your music is turn it up till your ears hurt good.
It has a real rock'n roll flavor, but I really only bought it for one song. In total I probably only liked maybe two or three songs. It's a very boy/man CD. Talking about women somethings in an "object" way and loudly. Only one song of any social value; but that is just my opinion. These days the best way to get a song you like is to get the whole CD and hope for the best or try to record it on your own. Music CD are not like they use to be. One song will sell an CD today. I should have waited for their greatest hits. They have quite a few good songs, though not on this CD.
