I've never been a big Opeth fan, but having bought "Still Life" a while ago I've got to admit I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed it. It took a while before buying "Ghost Reveries" but I'd heard a lot of good reports about it and having already obtained "Still Life" I knew I'd probably like it. And I did. All tracks are dark and heavy with a great deal of feel to the whole album. For me personally all the tracks are stand out and on that basis would recommend it to anyone who's into this genre of music. A top drawer album.

What a fabulous album! This has all the ferocity of Opeth's death metal background, interwoven with stark eerie hammond-type organ and some really haunting yet beautiful acoustic passages! With only 8-tracks across over an hour of music, and some great musicianship, this CD really flows without any particular stand-out tracks, from my first listen! If you can live with the gravelly vocals, as well as the clean vocals, and you realise this is not exactly easy listening, it is well worth buying!
This is another excellent opeth Album. This is one of the newer ones and has really good songs packed into it. My Personal Favourites are Atonement, Ghost of Perdition and Hours of Wealth. If you like pure clean guitar youll love Hours of Wealth. A++++++++++ Album!!!!
