I use these smart plugs with HomeKit extensively. I do not bother with scheduling in the OEM app, rather I just set them up and then schedule with HomeKit. I have a 1931 Tutor house with older wiring in it, and these smart outlets allow me to skip messing with old and brittle wiring. simple and reliable so far. Good value.

Works fine with Apple home kit. The insignia app will pick them up and install them fine. But if you want to integrate with Alexa or Google Home, don’t use iOS. When you try to log in to the bestbuy web page via iOS it throws an error code and you can’t sync. I ended up have to use my old Droid phone to complete the integration with both Alexa and my Google Home.

This product is extremely buggy. I had to install it and use an old phone to set up the wifi to the switch. Only then could I use my new phone to control it. They work great after that. Its the old adage....you get what you pay for. If you are willing to put in the extra time and resources these are good value. If not, spend $10 more and get something better.

these switches might not be as fancy as some others you will find out there but that's what makes them so good. having a physical switch like the good old fashioned ones makes even easier to operate even without looking. installation was a breeze (you need a neutral cable) and Google home integration with the insignia app makes it extremely easy to use. totally recommended.

Works great with HomeKit, as long as you skip the Connect app and just connect to it via Settings WiFi while signed into a 2.4ghz network, and then add it as an accessory in the Home app, scan the code and you’re good to go. Seems reliable so far.
