First, I love the Df. It will shoot virtually any lens Nikon has ever made with a few exceptions. I collect Nikon so I can pop a 1960 lens on it and shoot! It has the sensor used on the D5 so the photos are amazing. The retro look is great too. Older Nikkors look great on it. That being said, it is not a particularly convenient camera to use. It only uses 1 sd card (no xqd), you can't double tap and zoom it on the LCD screen and you have to go into the menu a lot more than on most Nikon dslrs to make simple changes usually located on the outside of the body. And no video. Plus it's a 16 megapixel camera (which is plenty). But the images really pop. I have 40 inch prints that are razor sharp. I put the image quality above the D500 or the D850 unless you plan to make a billboard. Great camera but a bit of a hassle to use.Read full review

Excellent DSLR camera that reminds me of when I first started learning photography with a film SLR. It is an easy camera to use with great image quality.

I’ve only had it a few days, but I LOVE it. A digital camera with manual controls is outstanding - your most common settings are available without having to drill down in menus. I have the ease of my old FE2 at my fingertips. My love of photography has been renewed!

Nikon Df could become your everyday "professional" camera without looking "professional" holding up the all-look-same Black DSLRs. Df would be for you if you are looking for: 1. High-End Camera (Images) 2. Style 3. Social media (optional wifi-transfer)
