It was well-packed and arrived on time. After opening it and putting it on a stand, I was happy with the sound. The bell and stick definition are exactly what I was expected, and the crash/wash tones are even cooler than I anticipated. Very happy with the purchase. I bought this cymbal used here on ebay hoping that it would be a perfect big band and rock/funk/country cymbal. In many ways it is but it was heavier than I expected. Modern cymbals are quite a bit heavier than older cymbals made in the 60's and 70's. The sound is articulate with a clear bell. I expect I will use this cymbal on many rock/pop/funk/country gigs. This cymbal projects and cuts so make sure your ride patterns are concise, articulate and clear, because they sure will be heard!
