I am very happy with this trombone. It doesn't look like much, but the slide works well and it sounds great.

Was looking for a beginner trombone for my son. The horn was quit a bit more beat up than mentioned in the add. Slide is far to dented to play. Will need an allignment, chemical cleaning, and about a dozen big dents taken out of the slide. I'm a professional trombone player and this slide is terrible even for a beginner. Going to cost a few hundred to fix... The King 606 is a great horn however if you can find one in good shape.

I bought this trombone for my new seventh grade child. This instrument was an average value given the fact that the slide, spit valve and case needed some work. Of all the dents the instrument had, only one in the slide prevented ease of use. The finish and nickel platings were in good shape. However, the slides outer tubing, down by the spit valve, is showing signs of internal corrosion due to a lack of care and cleaning. This shows up as little red spots that will eventually become holes through the brass.
Great for beginners, it's easy to play. A good horn at a reasonable price.
