Great insert book. Interesting images....Game is great! Multiplayer is a blast. However, everyone is so good the learning curve is steep. Also, the online matchmaking doesnt pair equally skilled players together..... they should work on that. Overall I would purchase the game again... the Harden Edition is nice but it would not be worth paying any extra for it uless it is new and included the Call of Duty classic game that you can download off of Xbox Live.... If you dont have XBOX live I dont think the single player campaign is good enough to warrent a purchase... file this game under rental then. However, if you are going to play online multiplayer it is worth the cost.
For being 11 years old or so the only negative thing I have to say is the condition of the outer plastic sleeve, but its to expected. The steelbook and hardcover art book however are in great condition so I'm very satisfied with the purchase

One of the best games in the "Call of Duty" series yet. (MW2) Modern Warfare 2 is a worth wild game for anyone's game collection. Lots of great detail, not just in graphics, but in portraying US special forces. Also gun fans will go nuts which the selection of real life weapons found in this game. The game play seems to be well balanced and the scenarios although detailed are easy to grasp for those who are not military savvy. The only flaws I seen, the game seems too short and the controls seems to be a bit stiff. I am not sure if it is MW2 or it is just the design of the Xbox 360 controller. There is ONE controversial level where you play as a someone posing as a "terrorist", from a purely game play stand point there nothing wrong, but there will be players (and parents) who will morally object to this. It will be be individual players who must decide if that stage goes against there values. For those who wish not to play such "morally objectionable level", you do have the option of skipping it entirely. Skipping the "terrorist" stage will not effect game progression, game story or any Xbox achievements. Personally for me, knowing the difference between the fantasy world of the game and what is real life, I am not bothered by the brief level you play as a undercover solder posing as a "terrorist".Read full review
Modern Warfare 2 is a sharp-looking game with a real dedication to keeping its frame rate up. Its smooth frame rate is a real asset that makes the action look great, but it's also backed up by some good, solid animation and large areas that fill up with enemies. All hell breaks loose at several spots in the campaign, and the technology behind the action is more than up to the challenge. While it isn't an order of magnitude greater than Call of Duty 4 at first glance, the larger scope of some areas feel like things that might not have been possible before, at least not without sacrificing texture or model quality.
It is a great action game. I have played the campaign mode and I like the game play, the story line is quite interesting and the strategy involved in passing certain parts. I like better the Modern Warfare versions of Call of Duty than the original ones. So far, this one is my favorite (including Black Ops), but they all are a lot of fun for hours in front of the screen. In my opinion. The extra cost for the "hardened edition" is not worth it. Specially if bought used (no codes most likely). So you'll get a tin case that like in my case is quite scratched and dented.
