I haven't used this magazine yet to feed live ammo, but I've put it through its paces using Snap Caps. I loaded and reloaded it several times with no problem. It snaps right into place and locks tightly. The movable end piece can slide up or down to fill the very small gap between it and the bottom of the grip. It is simple to load even though the spring is VERY tight. I couldn't load more than about three rounds by hand, so used my Maglula to fill it up. Spring tightness should diminish with use. I plan to carrying it daily. I currently carry my SIG with one 8-round mag inserted and a round in the chamber, and a second 8-round mag on my belt. I recently bought a two-mag belt pack and will carry the 10-round mag in this with the 8-round, or I may carry the 10-round mag in the gun and the two 8-rounds in the belt pack. Either way, I plan to take the 10-rounder to the range and empty it a few times before actually using it.Read full review

These magazines are very poorly made, the base plate extension looks and feels cheap, finish on the mag is just black oxide. The magazine holds ten rounds seemingly well with some nose dive which is expected but it doesn't lock the slide when its empty which is pretty bad and fully loaded mine didn't want to come out as easily as it should. Fit isn't great either i wouldn't rely on this for anything and given its flaws its not great for range use either for +2 its a big compromise go with factory Sig 10 round mags they are great, they are worth twice the price but are hard to find.

Bought 2 of these thinking I could at least be lucky and have one of them work properly. I was wrong. Everytime I use these magazine my P220 Equinox jams. One of them, the spring came out while I was loading the first bullet. I was really excited because they look cool but I guess they're just going to be for show.

Every year I keep hoping someone at ProMag will get their heads out of their netherregions and decide they're going to improve their products. ProMag for years has had a horrible reputation for producing crap products. The magazines are cheap, horribly constructed and more times than not jam. Like these. I decided to try some of these, hoping against all hope that they would work in my Sig P220. They fit in the magazine well just fine, but when shooting, they suffer failure to feed. In a defensive situation they can get you killed. When I look for aftermarket magazines, I look for MecGar. They make GREAT magazines with GREAT construction and EXCELLENT reliability and at EXCEPTIONAL cost. Earth to ProMag: Why can't you get your act together and make your product as great as MecGar? Even if you change NOW, it will take about three years for people to notice and say, "Hey, I got two magazines from ProMag and they were great! Good construction too and the bloody things work!" If you keep on producing CHEAP, CRAPPY and HORRIBLE magazines, nothing will change. Copy? Read full review

These mags work fine for me. I like having at least 10 rounds even though the spacer could be better the extra capacity is worth it at the range
