It's the Coen brothers first movie and truly one of the 10 best movies of its genre. If you don't believe me - see it for yourself. It introduced the Coen brothers to America filmland and also Danny Hadaya - one of our great current character actors. I believe it has become a classic and should be seen at least once yearly.
