Like anybody else that has bought these cymbal I was sceptical. I must of watched a hundred videos on u-tube of these. Some you could tell was a bad recording and didnt do em any justice, however I was able to find some with better quaity. The 16inch thin Wuhan I bought is very shimmery kinda like a fast crash. I love it!! It replaced my favorite Paiste crash that had cracked, been cut and cracked more to the point that it sounded like a trash can lid!! Cymbals are outrageously expensive now and the people selling used know it because they cost as much used as a new Wuhan! I think I will buy more Wuhan cymbals, the 18" crash- ride sounds good on video and from what I've seen has gotten numerous 5 star reviews!!

It was not what I expected, however with some experimentation, I was able to create a unique effects cymbal. It has more of a gong-type sound with lots of wash instead of a brighter sound & a sustained sizzle. It was very economical and it has a great look and is well made. You cannot depend on the demo video for your only determination in sound. For the money, it's still a good deal!

These cymbals are not your top of the line of the big three companies. The real value is in the quality and the price for a b20 cymbal. Just because they don’t have a big three stamp on them doesn’t mean they are a less than cymbal, especially for the price. I’ve played Zildjian Avedis for a few years and switched to Sabian AA El Sabors, which are my favorites. But, I have wuhan China’s and splashes in my arsenal and have never been disappointed. The wuhan crashes and rides are good quality cymbals that have a unique sound. They’re also a great value and I don’t believe they sound cheap either, just different. If you’re going for your own cymbal sound these might be the ones for you.

For the price, i did not expect a vintage thin crash Zildjian and it isn't. As a crash cymbal, it works but sound is so subject to opinion. it definitely sounds Chinese somehow-almost a bit of "gong' quality to it! Has a somewhat low pitch for a 16" crash but not entirely unpleasant. Definitely a crash cymbal though. I have to say, the Youtube videos don't help much-unless you are hearing a cymbal in person-it is almost impossible to judge the sound quality and how it will blend into your setup. I am keeping it for now, may follow up this review in awhile since cymbals definitely "age" and can change their sonic characteristics over time. Not a terrible cymbal, but not the best i've heard. Worth the money I paid. I miss my old Avedis Zildjians from the 60s!

These Wuhan Traditional series cymbals are hands down the best value when it comes to cymbals. They are handmade and are made of B20 (not B8) just like the high end cymbals from the major cymbal manufacturers. You just can't beat the price! I have been drumming for over 20 years and these are the only cymbals I buy now. I recommend them to beginners all the way up to the pros....great cymbals!
