I was having a problem with lead build up on the cylinders of two stainless revolvers - none of my current cleaning products would remove any of the residue until I tried KleenBore Lead Away. With minimal effort, the build up was removed and my revolvers look like new! Excellent product! One word of caution - I strongly suggest that you wear protective gloves when using this product.

Lead Away works as well as JB bore cleaner and is far less messy. I took over a .223 MVP that had minimal if any cleaning for 100+ rounds and the carbon fouling was like a ceramic layer. It took a lot of elbow grease but, the barrel is now nearly to the point that it can be lapped. Of course without a borescope, a person would never know just how much carbon fouling a barrel has, especially at the meeting area of the lands and grooves. Not sure what the vanilla smelling chemical is that the cloth is soaked with, so I would be careful if cleaning a soft steel barrel. Lead Away will now be a permanent part of my cleaning forever!

That annoying impossible to remove lead buildup/ ring on stainless revolvers is just a few wipes away with this cloth. Out words works great! I believe the manufacture does not recommend using on blued guns.

This is an excellent product for removing black heavy carbon from my stainless steel revolvers. I have only use this product on stainless steel but it works absolutely amazing. I have tried the new shooter lube on my revolvers and it does not work like this recto
