Ok so it needs to be maintained, has some operating cost with propane, and attractants and co2 cartridges. So a car has needs to. These traps work crazy well. If you like to be outside without so many mosquitos this is must. I have been using one for years, the work it takes pays off every time I enjoy my yard.

The instructions and assembly are easy, it's well built, but in the couple weeks I'm had it running, the only things its caught are whatever's been unlucky enough to fly under it. Theres a LOT of mosquitos where I'm at, its placed upwind about 25-30' in a shaded area from where I'm generally at, but it's only cought about 20 mosquitos at best along with a moth and a fly. I kill more than that with my hand in an hour, so is it worth the $309 I paid for it PLUS the tank of propane (another $50 for a new tank)? I dont think so! ...And yes, I installed the attractant like I was supposed to.

It seems like mosquitoes are the main course for the Patriot. The mosquitoes seem to get upset when I mess with it, Yeah you got a see if it’s working. Recommend moving it around in different locations, like 20 feet in a circle around your area of Zen, I leave it in each spot for about three days and keep it running 24 seven. I use fans in my main chill area, mosquitoes have a hard time flying in wind and don’t want to attract them to where I mainly relaxing

Easy to set up and get started. I says it covers a much larger area than it actually does. It works very close to the MM but not as advertised over a half acre.
