Working quite well. Mine momentarily "mullard flash" on start up. Nothing to worry about is my understanding. They sound good.

###The socket is OK for using it in a low voltage projects but with great care.### The first issue with the socket is that the pin holes are very tight (small).Out of the box, it is impossible to fit it the tube no matter how hard you push. I had to use a mini screwdriver to open them wider (and this only worked because the socket pins are slotted). After this, the tube was easier to fit, but still tight, and is still very difficult to unplug.Needs care to unplug it without bending the pins or breaking the tube. The quality of the material looks medium - I am not an expert but it does not look like other (expensive) porcelain socket I have.I cannot tell whether it is indeed porcelain or not but I am having second thoughts. Ignoring all the above, the main issue of the socket is that is below standard. Even after you plug in the tube, the soldering lugs are freely moving and the tolerances are too much, to the point that a lug can touch its adjacent ones. This makes it extremely dangerous for shorting and could be lethal in high voltages.(the lugs can touch before even I attempted to wide-open the holes, it is manufactured that way) I bought them for a 12V headphone amp and I am taking my precautions for electrical safety and shorting, so I don't worry that much, but I would not even think about applying more voltage. I would not use them in a high voltage application because of the high probability of electrical shorting. Overall, it is OK if you want a cheap socket for trying out at 12V (eg headphone amp, guitar pedal) but nothing more than that.Read full review

Shuguang has been making vacuum tubes since 1965. Though many tube factories in USA, Germany, and England stopped making tubes Shuguang kept going. They started out making military grade tubes but branched out into consumer goods and high end audio. The Psvane high end tubes are made by Shuguang. In fact 4/5 of all the 300B high end vacuum tubes in the world are made by Shuguang. The Shuguang 12AX7B is a miracle tube: it sounds great and lasts a very long time. They have lots of gain which is perfect for preamps, guitar amps, and radios. On the other hand they are also very quiet too so you won't hear the hiss and artifacts you get with cheap or worn out old tubes. If you need an inexpensive tube that hits way above its price point look no further than the Shuguang 12AX7B. For the price they are incredibly difficult to beat. You can spend two to three times the money and not hear a difference.Read full review
