If you are a baby boomer like me you can never forget the lyrics and artistry that Harry brought to the stage. His songs were stories of life and unfortunately many of his songs like Mr. Tanner many people have never heard. This collection of his songs on this CD is a great value and a must to own.

Bought this C.D. for the songs Taxi, Sequel, and a couple of other familiar signature songs. Many cuts on the 2-cd package are not that good, but as I listen to the songs & stories, I gained more respect for Harry Chapin's ability and efforts to help his fellow mankind. I am glad that I added this compilation to my collection.

OMG! If you know Chapin you MUST have this CD. Very rare Harry speaking about the World Food Program which he founded (audio), and he was the first (as far as I know) celeb' who took on such social issues in this head-on manner. The music is just better than it was when it was new. If you are a Chapin fan YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS CD. It is late Chapin, which we really didn't have the opportunity to hear at the time because there was a delay in publication due to his sudden death; although several of the recordings were early ('72, '74 and so on) Get it from lukezack or anywhere that you can. If you haven't heard Chapin in 20 years, GET THIS! It will bring back memories and remind you that there once was a diferent kind of music. Truly original, unique tallent. Chapin may very well be my generation's Billy Holiday. Absolutely unique in lyrics, total musical talent, and heart. 'Tangled Up Puppet' will break your heart, while 'Thanksgiving Hunger Drives' will inspire you (with audio of Harry giving a speech at the Michigan League on Hunger, April 1, 1980) , and 'Dance Band On The Titanic' will make you laugh at the absurdity of surcumstance.
