This series was every bit as exciting as any of the others. It was not as well received by broad audiences and didn't hang in as long as the other TNG, DS9, or Voyager. The case could be made that the acting, writing, effects, and directing were just as good or better. Some claim the series suffered from Star Trek fatigue--I believe the general concept for Enterprise was lacking. It was an attempt to recapture the glory days. At any rate some of the individual episodes are magnificent other are not so much. I was also disappointed in that they never tied together some early issues with who was behind the Suliban (spelling?). I haven't watched any of these since it was canceled so I'm looking forward to getting the whole set and even seeing a couple for the first time.
The only thing I did not like was, the single box set. It was advertised as 4 single boxes, 1 box for each season, not 1 for the entire 4. But, it still has the commentaries and deleted scenes and the like. It just would have been nice to get what was shown on the ebay page. It said "Stock Photo", so I thought it meant it was a photo used to show the selling of all the seasons separately. Like I said, it has all the same things, only in 1 box. It could prove to be better. Better for storage. Overall I am satisfied.
My favorite Star Trek Series next to The Next Generation Star Trek Series. If in the future one could watch as the Last Episode shows would be so cool to do. I would of liked to see 9 seasons but 4 seasons is what we got for some reason. To see Star Trek First Contact Movie would be wise since links to Star Trek Enterprise. HLLWYH!!!!

I purchased this series to make sure I could see all. Started watching on tv. They were factory new and not opened. Worth the price, but you could have a problem. I opened mine and inserted to play. The disks all say dirty need to be cleaned. I bought a dvd cleaner kit. Theuy cleaned up some. But still do not work in dvd player. I tried to get hold of paramount, but no way to send them a message about problems with there dvd. I did get them to play on the dvd in my computer. If you can get them to play, they are worth it.
I began watching the series Star Trek: Enterprise on the Sci-Fi network for the first time in October 2007, having missed its original television run. I have been a fan of Star Trek since “The Original Series” and I watched “The Next Generation” and all of the movies as well. I lost interest in Star Trek after "The Next Generation". Enterprise has renewed my interest in the Star Trek franchise. Buying the complete series on DVD and watching all four seasons in sequence is the only way to go. I consider Enterprise to be the best of all of the Star Treks that I have seen. The stories are interesting, the characters compelling, the acting excellent and the special effects outstanding. The series seemed to get better as time went on and season four, its final season, was the best. It is unfortunate; however, that the series lasted only four seasons and thus never reached its full potential as part of the Star Trek franchise.Read full review
