This selection was a good family movie. It showed loyalty and togetherness in lights of indifference. For me, it is a feel good movie if you're in need of hope and love. It's not Oscar worthy to me but is still a good movie. All the actors were endearing and engaging. I decided to buy it because everyone raved about it and until very recently (right before this review), I still had not seen it. Budget/recession issues. LOL but true! Yes, I know it is not holiday time. LOL again! Quite the opposite but I do recommend the movie and could see myself watching it again. I'm sure you'll find it watchable too. I love this movie. I had a chance to see it this year with my sister. After seeing it, I new I wanted a copy for my collection. The music is also great in the movie.
