Handy product but cheaper quality than the original built many years ago. Last one soap/water solution pump failed. Also the brush head broke several times. The newer dark green models are even more cheaply built. You to assemble the hose holder (2 places). On the original models it was a solid piece. The new wand holder with the rotating lock will surely fail within a year or less. These units work well for spot cleaning from spills or pets on carpeting. I think these simpler designs are better than spending more money on the units that have solution heaters built in.

Steamers heat up the water and add to the cleaning power .. this unit is not a steamer .I bought a steamer or so I thought according to the advertisement. I have owned one in the past lil green machine steamer WITH HEAT , so took it at face value when package arrived didn't need to use it so it was stored until I. Needed it. Well imagine my surprise when upon opening the package no steamer just a jet sprayer and vacuume not happy. When I contacted the seller they told me I was out of luck and that I got what I ordered. Not the case I ordered. A steamer and that's not what this is. They replied well we are a small store and and you get what you get for he value of what you paid for. Well made, very effective and easy to use. While not it's exact intended use I cleaned two Persian rugs. Sending them out was not cost effective, so I used this machine to clean them in place. Liquid did not soak through, cleaned well and even took out spots which were years old. While far more than "spot" cleaning, it took time due to the size, but extremely effective and did not damage my rugs, bleed or remove colors. My large size very expensive rugs are not bright and very clean. Would recommend this product to everyone.

Great little upholstery cleaner! This Bissell is convenient and powerful! I used it to clean the carpet in a very dirty used car. The results were amazing.
