This quad copter is pretty complicated, and will require patience and a bit of studying and watching videos before assembly. There are lots of videos on how to configure the ardupilot module. The instructions with this thing could be a bit better, there really isn't many instructions, mostly how to put the frame together which you can kind of figure out on your own. I need instructions on how to hook up the ardupilot module to the frame is it zip-tied to the frame. I found these online from this great video series with 8 videos on how to set it up. YOu will need to watch this unless you have done it before... I can't post a link but look up (1/8) APM 2.5/2.6/2.7/2.8 - Simple installation and setup overview on youtube... One thing I'm not sure is which prop screws are meant for which rotation of the blade? some go clockwise and some counterclockwise? I assume the screws that loosen the opposite way of rotation go together? i love the autoland feature and the stability feature are awesome. So many options to play with. Anyone recommend good lights for the quadcopter that I can turn on and off from the remote?Read full review

If you are a beginner, DO NOT buy this kit. The motors, frame, and landings legs are durable and work well. However, the APM flight controller is tricky to understand as a beginner, and in my case, it did not work properly. Another problem I had was with the esc's; one of them burned up. If you are new to the drone world, consider getting different flight controller. It will save you time, money, and a lot of stress.
