I bought this product because I heard Joan Jett had a new album coming out, and I was looking for news about it on Youtube. A suggestion for this band came up , and I was intrigued by the GORGEOUS woman in the picture that looked mad at the world. I clicked on the video and I was completely blown away by these Swedish Sledgehammers! The song was "The Fight Song". UNBELIEVABLE!! I watched it 3 times in a row. Now I am an old 80's Metal head, and I grew up on WASP, Motley Crue, Ratt, Kiss and a ton of Joan Jett. Plus all the really heavy stuff, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth you get the picture. 10 seconds into the song I was praying she could sing because the opening music was just pure Metal love! I could instantly hear WASP, Motley and some other influences. And then it happened: Liv Jagrell belted out the opening lyrics and changed my life! If you took the mean streak of Blackie Lawless, The attitude and sexiness of Joan Jett and threw in the singing ability of Johnette Napolitano(Concrete Blonde) and added the intelligence of Geddy lee and smashed them all together, you would have the woman who is taking the metal world by storm. She is absolutely the incredibly beautiful/sweet "girl next door", turned Metal "Skull Crushing" Goddess. This band grabs your soul, and then they shake it, beat you over the head with it, and then throw you down and put a boot on your throat. And you love every minute of it! I do not give this type of praise lightly, but this band earned every bit of it. I hate speed/death metal where all they do is growl and play one chord as fast as they can. Pure crap. These guys jam with a purpose and have a groove and rhythm intertwined with an amazing vocal range that has been sorely lacking in the metal scene for years. In short I have found my new favorite band, and it is "Sister Sin". I encourage anyone who wants to rockout and bang their head like the old days, to play these guys LOUD!Read full review
