This is the greatest Shakespeare remake ever done. It's the story of MacBeth (or MacB) if you're an actor, but set in the 1970's during the fast food uprising. Shakespeare's words are gone in this version, but the story and dialogue were given a modern 70's feel. It's common knowledge to actors that it's badluck to say "MacBeth" during rehearsals or a run of the show. Countless productions have had horrible luck, making it one of the biggest superstitions in acting. This movie takes us to the 1970's. Duncan has a donut shop but wants to but in the first "drive-thru" and start serving burgers. MacBeth, the cook, doesn't like Duncan stealing his idea, so with the help of lady MacBeth, they plot to take over. They open "MacBeth's" with giant golden arches for the "M" and a drive-thru. With the help of such great actors as Christopher Walkin and Maura Tierney, this is a great movie for everyone, but especially for fans of the eternal bard, Shakespeare.Read full review
