My review is for the Xbox one version but I think all platforms should be close, My first game was 2011 F1 and it took me a long time to get the hang of it. Once I figured out how to set my car up for each course and did proper fuel management and race strategy, I was winning a lot and I don't believe in assists or flashbacks. I played this game for about 6 months. Loved it. I got tired of certain aspects of this game and bought 2014 and man did I hate it. Cars were just tiring spinning beast and the game took a turn for the worse. Fast forward to 2016. The cars are drive able again! The game layout seems decent and feedback is a new world (could be due to PS3 and G27 vs xbox one and Thrustmaster Tx wheel). The cut scenes are a bit creepy due to some people being cross eyed or just plain weird, and the added spraying of the champagne is fun when you won but kinda unnecessary to show when you come in 10th. I also miss my old crew chief from F1 2011. The new one just tells me about the weather and my best lap time. I miss the extra yacking about my performance. But all in all, this new game is back on track. The new rivalry is good as well as the way the team scores your performance. I also like manual race starts now vs the computer just dumping the clutch for you. Graphics are still not the best but they get the job done. Ai is decent (I'm about level with the hard setting) The improved car menu is welcomed and so are the challenges during practice. So its good where it counts and needs a bit more polishing where its just fluff. Oh one last rant... Why do they have to call all the racers by their name except me, which they call me by my car mfg. something like this.."hamilton is on pole, followed by Vettel. 2nd Row is rosberg, followed by Mclaren Honda" Geeze.. I do have a name, a sur name and an abbreviation.Read full review

F1 2015 restructured track layouts, car graphics, and driver simulation but in doing so gave up career mode essentially. You simply pick a driver you like and race their equipment. That's it. Understandably, the creators of the game may have assumed everyone that bought the game would race online so no need to develop the back-half of the program but not everyone races online. I do maybe once or twice a year but otherwise, I just enjoy racing the new A.I drivers with the A.I program of they race as well as you do. You choose your avatar, driving settings and audio settings and the career mode in 2016 reminds me of 2011 and that was one of the greater simulation games I have ever played. This was a great purchase that I continue to develop as I am still in my Rookie campaign of a 10 year simulated career mode.Read full review

This is the official game and it's great. All of your favorite teams and drivers from the 2016 season are here! All the tracks and cars are true to their real life counterparts. You can play this from novice to expert levels for a realistic experience or just a casual experience as you like. Overall I was very impressed and will continue to buy this game series. It makes a great thing to play in the off season!

Game has many options. Practice against your best time (ghost). Quick game or career. Many tracks. A realistic, but hard game. Steering wheel helps.

Codemasters usually have a knack for making extremely difficult racing games. This one however has a very easy mode although it is still a bit frustrating. I will still think twice before buying another Codemasters game.
