This is a fun game to pick up and play real quick. Not something for hours on end. I will play it for a like a half an hour one day and a half an hour a few days later. It's fun here and there. If you like Tetris you'll probably like Hatris. This is one of my favorite puzzle games. Although I prefer the NES version, mostly because it's in color.

I hadn't known about this game in the Tetris series until I read back issues of Nintendo Power Player's Guides. I loved the music on this game but I wish that there could have been more that was integrated, such as VS. Com mode or Puzzle mode like they have in other Tetris games. I like the cute little cut scenes after you clear each level (there are 6 of them in all) and the ending isn't bad.
A great spinoff from the classic game Tetris!
