I love this game! Its highly addictive. I love that you can either play alone or with 3 other players. It definitely makes family game night so much easier without having to worry about lost game pieces, or the cat jumping on the board and scattering the pieces everywhere. My sons and I play this often. We definitely got our moneys worth out of it in the first couple days. Its hard to get my sons off of their Chromebooks to spend time as a family but this game is fun for all of us. It has many different boards you can unlock that are really cool, and a whole different way to play Monopoly in the richest edition, and really fun mini games that had us all cracking up with laughter. The graphics are great. Also it has settings to adjust rules and game play. I highly recommend this game whether you have children or not, its so fun and so addicting.Read full review

I like being able to play monopoly when no one wants to play it with me. However the game is slow, it still takes quite awhile to play a full game. And there is no way to preset the rules. Every time I play I have to go through the settings to get money on 'free parking' - though I suppose it is nice for allowing that as an option.

MONOPOLY - is mostly a fun family game, that you can enjoy with other pla1yers. Solo play is a bit boring but with others as the game is suppose to be played, it shines :D. Being able to play with one controller for multiple players is great, new richest mode is different :S and new boards make the old MONOPOLY that much better. The only down side to this game is the turn speed. If the animation speed and turn speed itself was faster the game play would be less about watching your turn pass then actually interacting with the game. Overall - Great Game for the Price :D

I've always been a fan of Monopoly and have purchased most of the official computer game adaptations of the game. It's been a while since a good one was released so I was excited to see this come out. Over all, this is a good game, with pretty good and challenging AI characters. The game offers more than just the traditional game, by including both the Monopoly and Richest editions, as well as mini-games if you're short on time. The Monopoly edition starts with the classic board, and as you complete games new boards become available. Most of the "House Rules" you expect are present and easily configured at the start of the games, except trade house rules - there is no "free pass" option available. You can play up to 4 humans, or up to 3 AIs (at least one human and 1 AI required), and game play can be extended over several sessions if desired. My only issues are within the game play itself. The game is nicely animated and narrated, the latter which can become annoying very quickly as the same phrases are repeated over and over and over as actions are taken. The background music is also repetitive and you find yourself quickly looking for the volume control to turn it down (off). There are no options to reduce the narration, turn off the excessive animations, or change/stop the background music. None of these are a show stopper - just turning the volume down resolves most of them. The game also does not have on-line playing, so if you no longer want to play with the AIs and have no other humans at home, you're out of luck. Over all, a good rendition of the game, closer to 3.75 stars for me.Read full review
This game is everything that the original board game was, plus with extra fun sidegames. The regular gameplay part is so nice to play without having to handle all the money by hand. Letting the PS3 do all the dirty work makes gameplay go much faster then the board game. A really nice thing about the PS3 version is that it will save your game for you at whatever spot you are at when you quit. The alternate version (richest) is an interresting and different twist of the game which is fun to play for a while, but mostly seems to hinge on a lot of luck. A few downfalls of the game are the repetitive auto-responses/commentary from the game. Along with a few small items such as haveing to repetitively push the continue button for the next player to get to their turn. If your objective of this game is to have a fun and playable version of Monopoly, then this is a great choice. If you are looking for an extreamly high-tech version of Monopoly to go with your PS3, this may not yet be the choice for you.Read full review
