If you're looking for a game where you control ships like the Enterprise, Excelsior, and Reliant then forget this game. I know it's the only XBox Star Trek title, but it's not worth it. You pilot fighter crafts, not vessels. Plus the whole game takes place in the mirror universe, so you don't even get the dynamics of the Star Trek universe. If you doubt me, then YouTube it.
There is fun and an interesting story to be had in this game. The story kinda plays out like an actual episode Star Trek. But beware there are some control and targeting issues which lead to path finding issues. This soon leads to frustration and lots of controller throwing moments. Play it for the story if you like Star Trek, otherwise there's better space shooters out there.
