This isn't a game you just pop in and play, you can, but you probably won't be happy with it and you'll definitely miss out on a lot. The important stuff; it plays well, the go-karts are almost identical to the GT series (not a fan), the cars however are far more realistic. It's not 100% sim, but it's probably as close as we've seen for PlayStation. There are loads of setup options, view and controller settings are a project themselves - all the options are great but it can be distracting trying to fine tune every last detail. The descriptions of adjustments aren't great. The menus are not exactly intuitive, but functional. Vehicle tuning is similar to GT, including the explanations that don't always make sense. It works, and if you're in a hurry you just answer a few questions and your crew sets up the car for you. Speaking for PS4 - I think this game is pushing the system, but it mostly runs well. The graphics (1080) are very good, the sound is actually brilliant in most vehicles. There are a few bugs right off the disk, but mostly taken care of in the updates, the latest of which is nearing 20gb, as always make sure you've got storage. If you're a fan of sim racers than you'll love it. Loads of fine tuning, a good vehicle and track selection, I do suggest you get a wheel - any registered wheel, because a controller does not do this game justice. Last thought; you can change the weather on any track, mix it up, grab a Senna and tear up Laguna Seca in a blizzard if it's getting stale.Read full review

Unless you have a good wheel this game is pretty much unplayable with the normal controller. Just get Gran Turismo instead.

It improves upon the first Project Cars! Still I hate that the rain tires don't act like they are supposed to. They were supposed to fix that. I am not very far in the career mode. But I really have been having a ton of fun racing cars. Azure is just an awful track just like it was in Project Cars
