I was Excited when I was a kid to get a chance to play this one. All my friends had Punch Out for the NES. I loved that game and I was hoping that Sega would be able to do battle against this classic. To bad for sega, it is not even close. The Graphics are outstanding for an 8 bit home console, but one thing made me very angry, the controls. I'm boxing against Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago and Rocky can only move forward, backward and down. It seems that he inches back and forth if you are not touching the D-pad. The game, when you play as a real boxer, is impossible to beat. If you contunue to hold down forward and hit punch button repeatly, the game is easy. Get a Genesis turbo controller and mall thru everyone. There are three bonus stage, Heavybag, speed bag and mitts. The only problem is the mitt stage is with your first coach Mickey and you do that stage right before you fight Drago. Doesn't Mickey die in the movies when you fight Lang in Rocky III. One more complain, No "Gone and fly now" or "Eye of the Tiger", it is Rocky, put some music from Rocky in the game. You can pick this game up at an Ebay stroe complete for under $10.00.
