I have been waiting to finally get a copy of this game it has been for almost a year. It is a beautiful copy and can't wait to play it. I truly appreciate and cherish the games I buy. I felt this was the right price for the product and how it was advertised. I will be playing this right after Kuon and Haunting ground. Thank you very much. I am very happy and pleased.

I just happened to hear about this game. I am not too sure where I heard about it, but I don't think I would have known about Blood Will Tell otherwise. It is that type of game that goes under the radar. Blood Will Tell's greatest strengths are its story and premise. You need to find numerous body parts that were taken from you. I know, you are probably going "whaaaa?" Keep in mind, this takes the Japanese route of story telling, which tends to be more out there and overly dramatic than we are accustomed too. Despite this, you do want to find out what happens which keeps you playing. This is a good thing, because Blood Will Tell tends to fall short in some areas. The graphics are about average. The characters tend to be recycled and not much put into their design. On the other hand, the backgrounds do feature a variety of landscapes that does distract from the plain, repetitive character models. Another area Blood Will Tell is weak is the repetitive game play. Games like Ninja Gaiden and God of War featured repetitive game play, but they somehow managed to make it engaging and fun. Blood Will Tell makes it seem like a chore and add on top of fighting boring enemies, you might find yourself trying to hurry through the game instead of enjoying it. Blood Will Tell is the kind a game that a more hard core player can enjoy. The story is very engaging and the voice acting is actually decent. But since the game play and graphics lean heavy on repetition, you find yourself in a tug of war trying to find out more of the story or becoming bored. Overall it is a game that is worth a look if you love games that don't follow the mainstream and offer something different, though a little off the wall.Read full review
Anybody looking for a challenging and extremelly hard to beat game, look elsewhere. This is a very fun game, it plays in the style of Nano Breaker. There is a couple of things that make this game stand out; one of the things is that when fighting with foes you can charge up and attack creating about a 3 to 5 seconds windows that allows you to follow a combination of moves that depending of how many you do give you different items. This is a great story and will keep you going and playing until you beat this game. It takes about 15 hours to beat at first; if you are an average player. I completelly recommend this game for any samurai enthusiast and action style players. You will not be dissapointed with this game. I know that the rating shows M but I see it as a PG-13. This game is kind of hard to rent because, not many rental places carry it; I am pretty sure it can be beat over a week rental. I am the type of player that plays a couple of hours here and then and it took me about 2 months to beat. I was really pleased with my buy and the playing experience from this game.Read full review
When Blood will Tell came out on the PS2 I was among the very few people who bought this game. It was very hard to find at the time, and it is even harder to find now. At the time none of the game store folks knew anything about the game, and I don't know why such a terrific game had such a limited release. I raved to everyone I knew about the game, "You've got to try this game, I know the title kinda sucks, but it's a great game!" In 2004 the gaming industry was releasing games such GTA San Andreas, Half Life, and Halo, while sword and demon slaying games like Blood Will Tell, had fallen out of favor with the larger gaming crowd so Blood Will Tell was very much overlooked. Blood Will Tell did not appear on many, or as far as I know any, ratings for that year. Blood will Tell came and went without much notice, and that was a shame because Blood Will Tell was, and still is, one of the best games I've ever played. The story line and character development are engaging and interesting. The combat innovative and the graphics were up there with the top gaming graphics that the PS2 was capable of producing. Today as I play this game again I am thrilled to have the chance to relive Hyakki and Dororo's quest to reclaim his 48 body parts from the over a hundred different types of demon that you will need to defeat in this long and engaging game. Playing like an Anime', Blood Will Tell will keep you coming back for more as you switch between the two characters on this amazing quest. If you have the chance to get a copy of this little known classic PS2 game get it. You will discover as I did way back in 2004 that Blood Will Tell will be a jewel in your collection to keep and play again and again.
