The graphics are ok, this game was developed in 2004, nice first person shooter.

You will find yourself quite busy controlling the other soldiers if you play this by yourself. Usually, once one solider dies, then you have to start over from the beginning or keep saving where you are. I found the worse part is the training at the beginning of the game. Although, it does help out for most parts. If you don't like all the profanity that is constantly being heard, then this isn't for you. Overall, it is a fun game for 1st platform of Xbox, but then, Xbox games at the time were not that great with the graphics and such, compared to the latest platform. Just stay very alert or die.

Note that unlike the title name given by eBay, the ACTUAL title is "Conflict Vietnam" with NO colon. The reason is that this title, unlike the other "Conflict" titles, was made by an entirely different studio and HAS NO CONNECTION with the other "Conflict" titles other than basic genre and many user interface elements. Frankly, it's not a derivative work, or a prequel to the original Conflict titles, it's cruder, with grossly inferior artwork, and a play style with a more rigid general mission structure than the original games. People expecting the kind of quality they saw from "Conflict; Desert Storm, Desert Storm II, and Global Terror" are going to be disappointed. I've worked on a number of major PC/Mac titles over the years including WarBirds and World War II Online, and I wouldn't have let this game out of my studio as it is. While it's an acceptable title, it will never be considered a great, or even particularly good title. The most that can be said for it is that the game play isn't all that bad, and the weapons used are in general more restricted to what was available then (the other games, particularly Global Conflict, used a larger mix of weapons to include those that US SOCOM might in the future adopt, or individual soldiers, who are allowed to chose their own personal weapons in that command, might carry). The VC are largely restricted to Moison Nagant rifles from World War II Russia, and the AK-47 is largely found only in the hands of NVA regulars. So the MOST positive thing about this game is that it got the fog of war in Vietnam and the dearth of advanced hardware in possession of the enemy down cold. Now if only they had fixed the graphics and physics engines. It's embarrassing for a big huge soldier not to be able to climb over a small pile of rocks . . . -Stephen "Caligula" Evans Software Engineer Semi-Retired (e.g. keeping up with the technology, but haven't found a new gig worth taking).Read full review
I had purchased Shellshock: Nam '67, and had given up after the glitch kept killing my game at the fuel station in the city. But after reading Medal of Honor winner Drew Dix's book about Tet, "Rescue of River City", I pulled it out and tried again for the heck of it--and made it through! So I wanted to get another Vietnam game, and found this one. I like that you can play cooperatively--we're only through the second of 14 missions, but I really enjoy it. I'm no game expert, but it's good fun to me...
My husband loves war games. I saw this one and purchased it for him. This buyer went out of his way to make sure this game was playable. My husband was in Vietnam so this game was especially wanted by him. I have purchased other games and they don't work and the sellers ignore all emails. I was very happy with this seller and the game. It worked perfect in the xbox. It is not easy to find xbox games, most are for the new xbox upgrade.
