Excellent addition to any gamer's fighting game collection. This was the next installment in a series that started on the Sony Playstation back in 1998. The use of lightning fast attacks mixed with a unique kill mechanic that can decide a round at a moment's notice makes for a fighting game that is different from the usual Street Fighter 2 clone. Add that a heavy metal inspired soundtrack and unique character designs makes this a very memorable game. Xrd goes further by showcasing the Unreal Engine at it's best with never any slow down in action. Now that Arc System Works can work on Guilty Gear again after so many years of the license being held up by Sega/Sammy, the future is bright for this franchise.
Same great gameplay; tight mechanics and graphics look smooth. If you're interested in a 2d fighter that is a little different and fun give it a try; I rate this game an 8.75 /10...

Ever since the Last Guilty Gear "Guilty Gear XX R" The Xrd series takes place AFTER Guilty Gear 2 Overture with a new story and excited features that not even Blazblue, nor Persona 4 Arena have so far. If you love heavy metal, post end of the world, and fighting games filled with badass characters you got it. Buy this game you wont regret it
