Ys set a great standard for what action rpgs should be, and this combo of two of its chapters is a great way to look back in time. While encouraged stylus controls and lack of a definitive attack button can be a bit uncomfortable at first, once you take the time to get into the story and follow the flow of events, get yourself some equipment and start old fashioned level grinding, you'll find yourself flattening bad guys in no time, :-) Very well done, am thoroughly enjoying it, possibly more than many new games made recently, :-D
un superbe jeu d'arcade action avec un zeste d'aventure . De jolis graphismes et une bonne durabilite viennent agrementer ce jeu sympathique . Il necessite une bonne connaissance de l'anglais sous peine de se perdre pendant des heures dans les meandres des labyrinthes et autre tunnels. 2 jeux pour le prix d'un puisque sont inclus Ys 1 et Ys 2 sur la meme cartouche : c'est une belle initiative trop rare sur les jeux ... Un mode time attaque a ete ajoute pour ceux qui finiraient trop vite le jeux ( une 20 aines d'heures tout de meme ) et un sound test uniquement accessible apres avoir fini le jeu ... Il reste a parler du mode multijoueurs mais que je n'ai pas teste faute d'amis presents en meme temps que moi ... Voila pour resumer ce petit chef d'oeuvre qui feraz pleurer plus d'un fan de ys ... Great spin on a classic. If you are a fan of the fist Y's series released on the Turbo Grafx. This game is a must with its new 3D graphics and great game play its a must play game for any hardcore PRG fan. I give it 8 out of 10.
