What I like about this game is it's size. It's got a lot of playtime for a portable...although the PSP is pretty much on par with the PS2, so large, complicated games are totally possible. This port of Marvel Ultimate Alliance is perfect, even if it's not as pretty looking as it's console counterparts. I'm having a lot of fun playing through now. I like the amount of characters you can choose from, and I am having fun switching up my team as often as I can to see what each character can do. The graphics are still pretty got for the PSP, although sometimes things can get a little crazy when there are a lot of enemies on screen and things zoom out so you can't see small details. That's one of my few complaints, that the camera is zoomed out too far sometimes and things get harder to see. Also, there are some chopping and audio clipping issues, but nothing too terrible or game-breaking. It's a great game and I'm not disappointed in it. I wanted another action game after I had a total blast playing God of War Chains of Olympus, and this was a great follow-up to satisfy my action craving.Read full review
I decided to buy this game because my best friend would not shut up about it. I knew it was probably going to be a lot like X-men Legends; however, I would be able to play as a bunch of Marvel Comic characters. The graphics on the PSP look really good. The movies and voice acting is really good too because they actually use some of the same voices as in the cartoons and other video games. The camera angle controls can be really frustrating sometimes. During gameplay you will find you will be pressing the X button a lot. A lot of the game involves defeating enemies and there is really no strategy to it. I was looking forward to an RPG with a little challenge and this game did not really give it to me. I play as really cool characters; however, I would be walking through stages and beating bosses the same way I just did it last time by mashing the X button and the R and one of my O,X,triangle, and square buttons. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a Marvel Fan and just wants to play as the characters and go on a repetitive fights over and over. The character upgrades really are not that great either. Youll be able to go on side missions and select which upgrades you want but there it is just not an RPG where you really upgrade like armor, defense, and new weapons. I plan to put this game on Ebay soon so be looking for it. Definitley rent before buying.Read full review
One of the best games I've ever played on any console. I haven't played this game in years. It's good to play it again, and even better that the game's functioning properly.

A great game. Excellent PSP graphics and audio. You get to choose 4 of the greatest Marvel heroes - all of the Fantastic Four, 3 X-men, Thor, and many more. As always, the videos are where the PSP's graphics truly shine - they are amazing. The video that starts the game at the very beginning always gets me excited about playing. (It involves Spider-man fighting and being his unique, witty self; and Wolverine being incredibly bad-ass.) It has a good story where Doom gets a bunch of super-villains together to take over the world, which I'm half-way through and can't wait to finish. All in all, a great buy for fans of any Marvel heroes - young or old. (Also, no foul language or gruesome violence or anything else like that to worry about if you want to get this for kids.)
you choose the hero you want to control. you hold the power to stop an ultimate alliance of evil. its an awesome game! my friends say its quite repetitive but not really coz you are running around with four heroes! just switch place with a hero of your choice and HUA-LA! a whole new ball game is at your hands. either be a shooter with iron man or be a brawler with Wolverine, or be both like storm! its cool! its fun and its definitely the ultimate alliance!
