I’m old enough to remember NBA Jam coming out in the arcade and later on various consoles. I wanted my sons to experience that type of gameplay. You can’t play NBA 2k all the time right? This game is fun, and comes in the spirit of NBA Jam. But, there is a learning curve with this. My boys have mastered the dunking, layups, 3 point shooting, while I am struggling. You also have to play to unlock players, whereas in NBA Jam, each team had 3-4 players already (you chose the 2 you ran with). Playground is still fun with dope graphics. I thought I would be whupping my sons but they are beating me bad! 💯✌🏾
