I really playing this game on my PSP. Here are what I like it best: 1) Super star signature moves! Player like Kobe, Tim Duncan and others have own special moves and is great to see. 2) Game is fluid without hangup, loads pretty quickly too. 3) Simple to pick up, just the thing for a portable. Dislikes: 1) Shooting percentage is way too high. I would be willing to miss shots for a more realistic game simulation. Really not too much to complain about. Bottom line a fun pick me up game on the PSP console!
There's lots to like in this one, with nice minigames, all playable online or alone. Unfortunately, there's one big, horrible flaw that keeps this otherwise excellent game from being anything more than average. As anyone who has ever watched or played basketball knows, you don't stop dribbling unless you have to or you are ready to get rid of the ball. In this game your man will pick up his dribble at the slightest contact with a defender. All drives and post play, including backing down your defender, are basically eliminated by this flaw. So I have to rate it average, as a nice collection of fun basketball-related minigames that also includes a unplayable full basketball game.
Overall it is a pretty good game.
