I heard mixed reviews of the '09 edition of the line of NBA Live games but must say I am very impressed. I purchased this alongside the better rated NBA 2k9 and would actually call it a tie. The gameplay - while yes, very much different - is superb. It just takes some getting used to but once in the flow of the game runs smootly. Everything 2k9 lacked this game has and vice versa. The graphics (PS2)were poor considering nothings really changed since Live 07 graphicwise, but gameplay wise they packed alot of new features into this game that make it that much more fun to play.
Very fun and easy to play yet challenging enough to keep you playing until the buzzer. Graphics and game play pretty impressive controls are a little loose but not to bad lots of features makes this game a lot deeper then expected overal a very good game.
My son loves it so much!!!!! He plays it over and over again. He is sports fan so of course, he loves any games that invovles sports and he would play that game like one hour or so everyday and if I allow him to do it, he would play that game all day long. Fortunately, he will go play outside and play basketball.
