I bought this item for my son as he is getting interested in sports. He is always happy to play this game and daily I hear him clicking away on his PSP sytem and making noise that indicates he's really getting into it. After he's done playing, we go outside and toss the football around. I'm happy that games like these get our kids motivated to participate in sports for real, and also that they're getting more exposure to computer systems that will eventually influence so much of what they'll do in their future lives.
I bought this game because the Xbox 360 version is a lot of fun, and figured, how much different could the PSP version be? A lot different. To put it simply, the game is terrible. The gameplay is nothing like the Xbox 360, and presumably the PS3. It just feels like they put it together on the fly to make a few bucks. It has simplified audibles, which makes no sense; even Madden 09 on the PSP has multiple coverage audibles. The speed of the game is terrible. It's like every game is played in mud. You cannot throw the ball! It has graphics similar to that stupid blue light that they used to have on TV in the NHL. All in all, very disappointed.
I have had the game before and then it broke, good game, really entertaining.

My boyfriend plays football but when he doesnt have practice he loves to play this game. He says there are great graphics and nice features. Definitely recomended for people who dont want to shell out extra money for a brand new 2010 game. It's just as good as the newer games.
