It's really not fair to evaluate games with huge time gaps, but it's hard not to. This game was a decent title at its inception and rightly deserves to not be forgotten, but sadly to most, it will be. It's a bit weird gameplay wise but keeps the basic story of Black vs. White by different traps that really don't amount to mush more than you dropping an item in a certain square (room). It's not bad really seeing as how now you can get it for under $5 most of the time. Do you think games today are pricey? I can remember NES games routinely costing $79.99 each. If anything get it for the memories.
I played this game in my youth. Ah...yes, my youth. Back when I was just a wee little boy. I am no longer a wee little boy, glad I'm not. Now I am a grown man. A big boy. I work for a living. But I still make time to play spy vs spy. I'll admit though that the background music, like almost any NES game, gets annoying after a while.
One of the best games on famicom / nes.
