This game was "beyond" what I expected :) Just like the first two Lego Batman games, this one follows a great storyline, but this time, you travel to other planets to find help to defeat the final boss. Not gonna give too much away, its something to experience for yourself :)

It is not clear what needs to be done in any given situation. We spend more time just trying to figure out what we are missing than enjoying gameplay. My son can't play it alone, which was really the point of buying it, so I have to come help him figure out puzzles that are far less clear than they should be in a kids game. We've experienced the same with other Lego games and have stopped buying them altogether. My kid enjoys Little Big Planet 3 and that may have difficult parts for him, but at least it is straightforward what needs to be done!
